Students’ Association of Robotic Urologic Surgery.
Since 2012, SARUS has brought students in Cluj close to the newest methods in urology and surgery: hands on robotic workshops on the da Vinci Xi, a mentor and a case of your own to publish, and time on the wards with former members who are doctors now.

Three ways in for students who want to see surgery from close up, from the robot’s console to the ward.
Hands on sessions on the da Vinci Xi, at the console and at the robot itself, in a time slot you pick when you register.
A mentor in the specialty you choose, and a case study to write and publish, with theory courses and help along the way.
Time on the wards and on the on call shifts of different specialties, alongside former SARUS members who are doctors now.
SARUS’s two robotic workshops, as SARUS describes them. Each runs in short time slots, chosen when you register.
At a real robotic surgery console: instrument handling and camera control, and the fundamentals of robotic assisted procedures.
With the robotic arms and the instrument cart: the docking process step by step, and how the whole robotic system is connected and coordinated.
