For professors
A project on this platform is a page students apply to, a team you accept, and a record of what the team produced. Everything below exists today.
What you get
- A project page. The public part is the title, the description and the students' duties; the brief and the working documents are read only by the students you accept.
- Applicants in one list, each with a CV and a motivation letter written on the platform. Accept, shortlist or decline in one click, and the student is told.
- A team. The accepted students see the brief, the documents and each other; one of them can be named project manager to run the week to week work.
- Milestones with due dates, from protocol and ethics to submission, and a dashboard line when nothing has moved for a month.
- A manuscript record, from drafting to published, with a list of journals eligible under the university's publishing agreements. A DOI is enough: citations are counted from then on.
- A year report the faculty can read: projects, teams, abstracts, papers and citations, counted by the database, never by hand.
How to start
- 1.Sign in with your university Microsoft account and choose professor at onboarding.
- 2.An administrator approves professor accounts, usually the same day.
- 3.Publish a project of your own from your dashboard, or open a project that reads seeking a supervisor and ask to supervise it.
- 4.An administrator confirms you. Your name appears on the project only after that, and only when you asked or agreed.
Nothing without your consent
Supervision is credited on a public page only after you asked for it or confirmed it yourself. An administrator can name you as proposed, and nothing is shown until you agree. You can withdraw a request while it is waiting.
