About this platform
The UMF Cluj Research platform connects students with research projects led by professors at the Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj Napoca. Students browse open projects and apply with a CV and a motivation letter; professors review applicants and build their teams; and a shared directory makes research techniques and resources discoverable across disciplines.
Who runs it
UMF Cluj Research is an independent, student led platform. It was built and is run by students as the dedicated platform of the EMSA Research Fellowship, an initiative of the English Medical Students' Association Cluj Napoca. The Faculty of Dentistry's support for the fellowship and its platform is recorded in a letter of intent signed by the faculty's Vice Dean on 24 March 2025, and the university's name is used here on that basis. The platform is not operated by the university, nothing published on it is an official statement of the university, and its code, design and content remain the property of the people who built it.
